Though Saab chose to give many cars fitted with their 1998cc 150 bhp petrol engine a 1.8t designation when in fact these cars are fitted with a 2.0 litre turbo engine, it can be a little confusing for somebody looking at purchasing a Saab for the first time, what makes it more confusing is that many of the data bases used by various car advertising media are also confused by this, consequently the same car can be advertised on one website as a 1.8t and on another as a 2.0t! Saab did offer the same 1998 cc engine with a different engine map that increased the output to 175 bhp, these were designated as a 2.0t, this option is comparatively rare but does add to the general confusion, cars with this engine option have a turbo gauge located in the instrument cluster while the 150 bhp versions do not. The 210 bhp petrol powered Aero model also use same 1998 cc B207 engine, however these have a different turbo charger fitted and along with other upgrades. A very attractive low mileage car finished in one of Saab’s best variations on the colour Silver! In my opinion the Saab 9-3 is still the best value for money full 4 seat convertible available as a used car, comfort, ease of use, practicality and depending on the model and engine combination you chose, a car that will suit all driving styles, tastes and required levels of performance.
Originally pre-registered by Holdcroft Saab, the car has had two subsequent private keepers, The vehicle has had a total of seven services, the first two were performed by the original supplying Saab dealer Holdcroft Saab, one at 7,514 miles in March 2010 and the other at 17,019 miles in March 2011, the car has had a total of 5 subsequent services performed at 23,681 miles, at 27,212 miles, at 34,312 miles, at 39,520 miles and most recently at 48,368 miles in February 2017 As part of cars preparation for its next owner a full inspection and a service will be performed by my preferred local Saab service and repair specialists JP Autosolutions of Bristol www.jpautosbristol.co.uk With a copy of their inspection report, the cars stamped service document and copy invoices for the service and any remedial maintenance they may have recommended as a result of that inspection (if any) forming part of the vehicles paperwork at handover.
